Wednesday was the pull list. This is the heat sheet. What actually moved after the books hit shops, on the rack and on the aftermarket. Distro sell-outs, POS sales, and eBay tape are three different signals. We label them. Not a buy list. Not a promise anything holds.

What moved after Wednesday

• Crowbound #1 (Lemire / Nguyen, Image). Day-of-release distributor wipeout. Image greenlit a 2nd printing for September 30 (new Nguyen cover + virgin of the first). That's distro heat and reorder pressure, not an automatic eBay lottery. Key Collector still has Cover A around cover. Ask at the counter for remaining firsts before chasing online.
• Hammerfist #1 (Remender / Epting). Same story a week earlier: sold out at distro on street (Aug 26). 2nd print ships September 23. Terminal #2 still showed real POS juice the week before (Comic Book Club / Bleeding Cool Wednesday-to-weekend charts). Image is the creator-owned story of the month.
• Absolute Catwoman #3 led national POS for Aug 25–31 (Comic Book Club / Prana). Absolute Wonder Woman #23 and Batman: Bad Seeds – Sunset #1 filled the podium. That's register sales, not pull rankings. DC hit about 42% marketshare that week vs Marvel's 27.6% (Bleeding Cool / Prana), without a new Absolute Batman on the rack.

Old paper that's hot

• Absolute Batman #11 / #12 / #13. Still the modern aftermarket engine (CovrPrice via Bleeding Cool). Anime-in-development chatter. #11 = first full Abs Joker (raw NM FMV cited around $91). #12 = Abs Catwoman cameo + Killer Croc cover. #13 = Abs Catwoman / Harley. GoCollect still has Abs Batman #1 near the top of its hottest board.
• Uncanny X-Men #221 and #239. Sinister keys after Adam Driver at D23. GoCollect has #221 as its #1 hottest graded comic right now. #239 was volume on CovrPrice (first Sinister cover / Goblin Queen cover; raw NM FMV cited around $12). Long fuse to the movie.
• Marvel Spotlight #5 (first Ghost Rider / Johnny Blaze) and Nova #1 (1976). CGC's September Hot List. Ryan Gosling Ghost Rider announcement at SDCC is the match on Spotlight #5. Nova is cosmic / project buzz, not a confirmed street date.
• JLA #141 (Manhunters origin). Also on CGC's September list off HBO Lanterns. Counter ask if someone is deep on Lanterns keys.

New this week, label the signal

DC's Next Level triple (#1s for Legion, Doom Patrol, Teen Titans) and Oni's Archie #1 were the critic / pull story Wednesday. That's not the same as Crowbound wiping distro. Last Driver is already on 2nd print FOC history and the 1:50 Ottley NM87 homage was a real CovrPrice chase (high $100 NM, FMV $65 cited). Midnight Universe ashcan was last week's volume spike (shops dumping bundles). Don't chase cooled ashcan tape.

At the counter: Absolute Catwoman / Wonder Woman keepers, Crowbound firsts if any are left, Last Driver variants, and Sinister / Ghost Rider back-issue digs. Next Level #1s are reads unless a specific variant is the ask.

What cooled / don't get burned

Distro sell-out ≠ graded money. Crowbound and Hammerfist are reorder stories until aftermarket data says otherwise. Midnight ashcan FMV was already dropping when volume spiked. Absolute Batman #24 (Absolute Bat / Barbara debut) does not street next Wednesday. It moved to September 23. Foil exclusives have been trading as preorders. Don't sell it as next week's book.

FOC closes Friday at 11:30 pm

What's likely to move, not a second pull list:

• Absolute Cassandra Cain: The Shadow's Hand #1 streets Wednesday (Abs Catwoman spin-off). Last-chance lock if it isn't already on your list.
• Spawn 77 #1 and Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett #1 for next Wednesday heat.
• Absolute Batman #24 (Sept 23 Absolute Bat debut) and Hammerfist #1 2nd print (Sept 23). Crowbound #1 2nd print is Sept 30.
• Amazing Spider-Man #1000 main book slipped to Sept 30, but ComicsPRO Local Comic Shop Day shops get the Skan LCSD variant four days early on Sept 26. That's a local-shop play, not a Wednesday lottery.

Nearby paper chase

Vancouver Comics & Collectibles Expo — Sun Sept 13, Vancouver Flea Market (703 Terminal), 10–5, $5 at the door. Vancouver Comicon — Sun Sept 20, Heritage Hall. Vancouver Comic & Toy Show #30 — Sept 26–27, PNE Forum (same weekend as LCSD / ASM #1000 early variant).
