Here's what we'd actually like to put in your hands.

Eddie and the symbiote are back together in Venom #1, Amazing Spider-Man rolls into #1001, DNX and X-Men keep the Philly crisis cooking, and Al Ewing's DOOM All-On-One is a fifty-page Hell scrapbook. DC's Next Level #2s land (Legion, Teen Titans, Doom Patrol), Bad Seeds wraps Gotham Central and opens Streets of Gotham, and Nice House by the Sea closes. Confirmed against Marvel.com, Forbidden Planet's Oct 14 shiplists, ComixNOW, and Comicade.

On the wall

• Venom #1 (Charles Soule / Tommaso Bianchi; $4.99). Eddie Brock and the symbiote reunite, and Eddie is determined to be the hero host this time. The relaunch everyone has been asking about since Amazing Venom.
• Amazing Spider-Man #1001 and Amazing Spider-Man: Amazing Visions #1. The milestone keeps rolling; Visions is the companion one-shot.
• DNX #3 (Jed MacKay / Federico Vicentini) and X-Men #39 (MacKay / Tony Daniel / Netho Diaz). Philly's still in crisis while the Factory in Alaska gets hit; Greycrow is the house security.
• DOOM All-On-One #1 (Al Ewing / Alessandro Cappuccio; $7.99). Fifty landscape splash pages of Doom fighting the Marvel Universe in Hell for his mother's soul. Event-book energy in one issue.
• Infernal Hulk vs. Fantastic Four #1 (Phillip Kennedy Johnson / Cian Tormey). Hulk's army comes for the Immaculate Engine in the Baxter Building.
• Wolverine: Paradise #1 (Dan Panosian writes and draws; Dazzler guest), Iron Man #10, Nova: Return of the Rings #1 (Josh Trujillo / Humberto Ramos), and Captain Britain 50th Anniversary Special #1 (Claremont, Davis, Abnett shorts).
• DC Next Level #2s: Legion of Super-Heroes #2, Teen Titans #2 (Higgins / Di Nicuolo), Doom Patrol #2. Bad Seeds Week 6: Gotham Central #2 (of 2) and Streets of Gotham #1 one-shot. Clayface: Celebrity Dirt #4 (movie heat), The Nice House by the Sea #12 finale, plus Action Comics #1103, Supergirl #18, Green Lantern Corps #21.
• Image and indie: Spawn '77 #2 (McFarlane / Spears; $6.99, of 3), G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #333, Transformers #37, Mark Spears' Graveyard Shift #1, Hammer Head #1, Cassie #1 (BOOM!), Archie vs. The Terminator #1, Star Trek: Zero Point #1, TMNT #23, Sonic x Godzilla #3.

If you're only grabbing a few

• Venom #1. The counter ask of the week; Cover A is the reading copy.
• Amazing Spider-Man #1001. Keep the milestone run going.
• DOOM All-On-One #1. One-and-done spectacle if you like Ewing's Doom.
• DNX #3 or X-Men #39. Same kitchen; pick the book you're already in.
• The Nice House by the Sea #12. Series finale; don't miss the ending if you've been on it.
• Spawn '77 #2 or Legion of Super-Heroes #2. Heat continuation vs Next Level follow-through.
• Wolverine: Paradise #1. Auteur Miami Logan if you want something off the main grid.

If there's room: Infernal Hulk vs. Fantastic Four #1, Nova: Return of the Rings #1, Captain Britain 50th, Teen Titans #2, Clayface: Celebrity Dirt #4, Graveyard Shift #1.

Collector notes from the counter

This isn't a buy list. It's what people are asking about, and every number comes from a named source.

• CovrPrice week ending Oct 11 (ComicsHeatingUp / Bleeding Cool): Amazing Venom #1 Ito still #1 (69 sales, 204% seven-day growth; high $20, FMV $14 raw NM). Freddie the Fix #1 main cover #2 (high $28 / FMV $23) and the 1:10 Frusin #4 (high $35 / FMV $27) on Amazon movie news. ASM #1000 LCSD Skan #3 (high $57 / FMV $33); Ditko B&W 1:50 #6 (high $116 / FMV $87). VisionQuest trailer heat on West Coast Avengers #45 and Avengers #162; Miracleman #1 (Alan Davis) moved after Armageddon #4.
• Today's Venom #1 is the Soule/Bianchi relaunch, not Amazing Venom. Cover hunters will chase variants; Cover A is what we'd put in a pull box for readers.
• DOOM All-On-One is a $7.99 oversize one-shot. Treat it as an event flip-through, not a weekly ongoing.
• Spawn '77 #2 and some DC Next Level #2s may still be rolling onto the site this morning; last week's pattern was Marvel first. Ask before you assume it's in your box.
